Friday Lisa and I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was so awesome, words can not even begin to describe it. It was so much better than the old one. In this one, they actually showed what the naughty children looked like after they disobyed Wonka, and there was also a different ending. Johnny Depp is and always will be better than Gene Wilder, as Willy Wonka. Thus, my new favorite movie is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I’m so buying it the day it is released on DVD. So, put that in your pipe and smoke it, biotches.
Then Saturday Lisa and I went to the release party for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, at midnight, at Walden Books. It was weak. They didn’t have any free Harry Potter book marks, or anything like that. Infact, it wasn’t even like a real party. They weren’t giving anything away or anything like that. It was basically just, buy your book, and get out. A ton of people were dressed up as certain characters, and some parents were cranky, and were complaining the whole entire time. The first kid to get his book, ran out into they parking lot, screaming “HARRY POTTER, WOOOO!”, at the top of his lungs. It was really funny. Lisa pre-ordered her book, so she bought it at Walden Books. But since I didn’t pre-order, I waited till today, and got mine for 40% off at Barnes & Noble. Walden Books sucks. Period.
Good times. ♥
